Brownies

3 oz unsweetened chocolate (bar or powder)
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine chocolate and butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until just melted.
  2. Transfer mixture to bowl, and stir in sugar, eggs, flour, and vanilla. Add a pinch of salt, and stir until flour is incorporated.
  3. Pour into greased 8×8 baking pan and bake 25 minutes. Cool before cutting.
