1 stick unsalted butter
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine chocolate and butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until just melted.
- Transfer mixture to bowl, and stir in sugar, eggs, flour, and vanilla. Add a pinch of salt, and stir until flour is incorporated.
- Whisk together cheesecake ingredients in a small bowl until smooth, and dollop over brownie batter. Swirl in with a knife or spatula. Sprinkle chocolate chips on.
- Pour into greased 8×8 baking pan and bake 35 minutes. Chill before cutting, and serve chilled.
