2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp chili powder
2 cups orange juice
1 dash cumin (optional)
1 tsp honey (optional)
2 tbsp lime juice (optional)
- In a small saucepan, heat the oil on medium-high heat until shimmering. Add chili powder and stir into a smooth paste. Allow the mixture to form bubbles around the edges.
- Stir in orange juice. Add cumin, honey, and lime. Boil, covered, for 5 minutes.
- Uncover saucepan and boil for about 10 minutes, until the sauce is reduced by half, and appears brick red.
- Serve or refrigerate.
