2 1/2 lbs apples or peaches
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, cold
- Combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Using a pastry blender, combine with cold butter until the butter is finely separated.
- Cut fruit into 1-inch chunks, and spread in a 9×11 baking dish. Scatter the topping evenly over the fruit.
- Bake at 375 F until topping golden brown, about 50-55 minutes.
